ECC specialist Veterinarian, Board Certified/Residency Trained

Our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Department is excited to offer the opportunity for a full-time ECC Criticalist to join our purpose-built facility.

The Role

We are a multidisciplinary referral hospital offering services in surgery, internal medicine, and more, with a high out-of-hours caseload that feeds into our ECC team. We are looking for a motivated ECC Criticalist to join our growing department, which includes 1-3 ECC interns, rotating interns, and several dedicated ECC nurses. You will play a key role in training and supervising interns, advising the out-of-hours and general practice teams, and consulting on critical cases that come from our entire network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and supervising interns with support from an administrative manager
  • Consulting on critical cases from across the hospital and network
  • Advising the out-of-hours team and general practice team

About You

The ideal candidate will be ACVECC or ECVECC board-certified or a Fellow of the ANZCVS. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with specialty interns and nurses.
