This hospital is a state-of-the-art facility, encompassing 60,000 sq ft and situated on fifty acres dedicated to emergency equine surgery. It offers comprehensive elective orthopedic and soft tissue surgery services. The team consists of a Chief Medical Officer of Equine, three highly esteemed board-certified surgeons, an anesthesiologist, and a dedicated support team of Registered Veterinary Technicians and Animal Care Attendants.

Departments

Veterinarians will share rotating on-call duties to ensure the best care for patients.

Qualifications Required

ACVS or ECVS Board Certification in Large Animal/Equine Surgery
Licensed to practice in Ontario or eligible to obtain a license
Minimum of 5 years of experience in equine surgery, with expertise in various surgical techniques and advanced diagnostic procedures
Experience in sports medicine is an asset but not required
