Veterinary Cardiologist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate and skilled veterinary cardiologist to join our growing group of specialists. This is an exciting opportunity for a residency-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible cardiologist to work in a collaborative environment, providing exceptional care for a diverse range of patients.

About the Role:

As part of our team, you will utilize your advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills to support patients, their families, and your colleagues. You will work closely with referring veterinarians, providing comprehensive care for chronic conditions, offering second opinions on complex cases, and performing specialized diagnostic procedures when necessary. You will also manage specialized hospitalization and therapies for critical patients.

Our facility offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will work alongside a team of 22 specialists across 8 specialties, supported by highly skilled nursing staff. We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and referring veterinarians
  • Providing comprehensive cardiology care for patients, including chronic cases and complex diagnostics
  • Performing advanced diagnostic procedures and specialized treatments
  • Offering second opinions and working closely with clients and families to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Residency-trained, board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology
  • Completion of all state licensing requirements
  • DEA license (state and federal)
