Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Join a multidisciplinary hospital that features a 24-hour Emergency Service and General Practice. Our facility operates from a spacious 24,500 square foot building, conveniently located just 20 minutes south of downtown Ottawa, Ontario.

Departments

You will be part of a dedicated specialty team focusing on Veterinary Dentistry.

Equipment

Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging, including:

• Toshiba Aquilion 64 slice CT
• 25T Vet MR MRI
• Pulsera Fluoroscopy unit
• Philips ultrasound and echocardiogram
• Karl Storz endoscope
• Two Sound digital radiograph suites

Staffing Levels

You will collaborate with a talented group of six experienced specialists in various fields, including Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Dermatology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology. Our supportive team of veterinarians prides itself on collaboration and teamwork.

Type of Individual Sought

We are looking for a dedicated Board-eligible or Board-certified Veterinary Dentist with strong diagnostic and critical care skills. Leadership qualities to train and mentor interns and technicians, along with exemplary customer service abilities, will be essential.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must possess:

• AVDC certification from the American Veterinary Dental College or EVDC certification from the European Veterinary Dental College.
• A valid DVM degree or equivalent.
• Licensing in Ontario or eligibility for licensing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO).
