This is a growing, multidisciplinary hospital offering 24-hour Emergency Service, General Practice, and specialty care in fields such as Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Dermatology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging including a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT, MR MRI, Pulsera Fluoroscopy, ultrasound, echocardiogram, and endoscopy suites.

The position will be part of a team of specialists in a hospital that serves a diverse and challenging caseload referred by over 300 general practice and emergency hospitals.

Type of Individual Sought

We are seeking a Veterinary Dentist with leadership skills and the ability to mentor interns and technicians. The ideal candidate will also have excellent diagnostic, critical care, and organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must hold a valid DVM degree or equivalent, allowing practice in Canada. The position requires board-certification (ACVS) or residency training (and eligibility to sit for board examination) in Dentistry. Candidates must also be eligible to be licensed with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO).
