Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

Are you a graduate or resident in Internal Medicine looking for a rewarding opportunity? This practice is seeking a 2nd specialist in Internal Medicine to join their dedicated team at a private independent referral clinic in Avignon, France.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

An independent referral practice, specializing in imaging, surgery, and internal medicine. The clinic provides care exclusively through specialized and referred consultations and is located in the beautiful south of France.

Departments

The internal medicine caseload is growing, making the addition of a 2nd internist essential. The current team comprises 3 veterinarians and 8 veterinary technicians (ASV), all committed to delivering the best possible care and service to patients and clients.

Equipment

ProvenceVet is equipped with advanced technology, including:

  • Endoscopy suite for digestive, respiratory, and urinary endoscopies
  • Digital radiography
  • State-of-the-art HD ultrasound machine (Canon Applio A)
  • Multi-slice CT scan (Canon Aquilion)
  • 1.5T MRI machine (Canon Elan)
  • A 750 m² expansion is currently underway, scheduled for completion in early 2025.

Staffing Levels

The practice is composed of a collaborative team focused on providing high-quality care, with plans for further expansion as the internal medicine team grows.

Type of Individual Sought

The ideal candidate must be eligible to practice as a veterinarian in Europe and should be able to conduct consultations, phone conversations, and write reports in French.

Qualifications Required

Graduate or resident in Internal Medicine (with allotted time to prepare for and sit the exam)
