About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Internal Medicine Specialists to join our expanding team in Alexandria, Sydney. Located just 10 minutes from the heart of Sydney's CBD, this hospital offers easy access to all of Sydney's popular suburbs. In this role, you will be part of Australia's largest veterinary referral network, providing comprehensive clinical services. You'll collaborate closely with a broad team of over 80 specialists across various departments, including emergency and critical care, surgery, oncology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, and anaesthesia.

The Internal Medicine Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly built, purpose-designed hospital. We are currently offering a permanent part-time role, with the potential to transition to a full-time position. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Examination, diagnosis, and management of small animal internal medicine cases
• Maintaining clinical records and communicating promptly with referring veterinary clinics and clients
• Participating in seminars, tutorials, and rounds with interns and referring veterinarians
• Adhering to standard small animal internal medicine protocols
• Ensuring appropriate billing for services provided
• Working flexible hours on a roster system, including participation in the out-of-hours roster (1 in 5 weekends)

About You:

To be considered, you will:

• Be eligible to register as a veterinarian in Australia (NSW)
• Hold a qualification in Internal Medicine (Fellow ANZCVS or Diplomate ACVIM, ECVIM)
• Candidates who have completed an approved training program but are yet to finalize exams are also welcome to apply
