Veterinary Internist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

An exciting opportunity is available for a board-certified or residency-trained Internist to join the team at a newly-remodeled 24/7 Emergency hospital in Asheville. This practice is focused on building specialty services, creating an excellent opportunity to establish a thriving practice in a pet-centric community.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This hospital is equipped with spacious, expanded treatment areas, triage, over nine exam rooms, and a dedicated ICU with a feline-friendly ward. We have an on-site lab, three fully-equipped surgical suites, multiple radiology suites, CT imaging, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Imaging is interpreted by MedVet radiologists, facilitating seamless collaboration. Our hospital is committed to providing collaborative and exceptional care while prioritizing continuing education and the wellbeing of our caregivers.

Departments

The practice currently provides Emergency services and is expanding specialty services. Your role would involve working closely with a dynamic team of specialists across various fields, including surgery, oncology, and neurology. A collaborative atmosphere ensures you'll have the support of highly trained technicians, house officers, and a network of referral partners.

Equipment

The facility includes advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including a dedicated ICU, imaging equipment (CT and radiology suites), and a variety of surgical tools. Our on-site lab ensures quick diagnostic results for better patient care.

Staffing Levels

As part of the growing team, you will have access to excellent clinical support, including a team of experienced technicians, hospitalists, and a network of highly skilled veterinary professionals.

Qualifications Required
