Veterinary Internist (Board-Certified / Residency Trained)

An excellent opportunity is available for a board-certified or residency-trained Internist to join the existing team of three Internists and two IM hospitalists at a prestigious 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Chicago. This department is supported by a strong ER team and a network of exceptional referral partners, ensuring a steady stream of challenging and rewarding cases.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This practice is an AAHA-accredited, state-of-the-art facility offering a broad range of services, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, and more. We are committed to providing the best care possible with access to advanced diagnostic equipment, including imaging tools. Our Internists collaborate closely with on-site radiologists to ensure the best patient outcomes. The hospital features a modern facility with an on-site lab and pharmacy, as well as advanced imaging technology.

Departments

You will be part of a dynamic team of specialists in areas like Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery. This collaborative environment also includes support from House Officers and rotating interns, as well as a dedicated technician team to assist in delivering the best care to our patients.

Equipment

The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge imaging and diagnostic equipment, designed to support complex internal medicine cases. A dedicated, skilled technician team is available to assist with advanced procedures.

Staffing Levels

The team includes three experienced Internists, two IM hospitalists, as well as rotating interns and House Officers. Support staff includes a clinical pathologist, a veterinary social worker, and a training specialist to foster continuous professional development.
