Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This practice is a well-established companion animal specialty and emergency center located in Edmonton, Alberta. Our hospital, with a 20,000 square foot facility, provides a comprehensive range of services including surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and oncology. We have developed strong relationships with a large referral community across Northern Alberta, Northern BC, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. This year, we are expanding to include an additional 8,000 square feet dedicated to oncology facilities, a dedicated ICU, extra exam rooms, and installation of an MRI.

Departments

Our services include surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and a growing oncology department. The new oncology facility is designed to support advanced care and improve outcomes for patients with cancer.

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Medical Oncologist who thrives in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong diagnostic ability, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. The ability to mentor staff and collaborate with specialists in other departments is essential.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must be Board Certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Medical Oncology. A valid DVM degree (or equivalent) enabling practice in Canada is required, along with the ability to be licensed in Alberta.
