Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This independent referral centre, established in May 2022, handles a diverse caseload of small animals with occasional exotic and zoo animals, including lions, capybaras, and orangutans. Our hospital boasts state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including Philips EPIQ Elite and CX-50 ultrasound machines, a Philips Incisive 64-slice CT scanner, Philips Veradius flat-panel fluoroscopy, and cloud-based PACS. Future expansion plans include a high-field MRI.

Departments

The imaging department is composed of two board-certified radiologists (ECVDI, ACVR), one imaging resident, one visiting resident, one imaging intern, and a full complement of nurses. You will be working in a collaborative environment alongside specialists in internal medicine and surgery.

Equipment

Our hospital offers advanced diagnostic imaging technology, including:

  • Philips EPIQ Elite and CX-50 ultrasound machines
  • Philips Incisive 64-slice CT scanner
  • Philips Veradius flat-panel fluoroscopy
  • Access to a 3T MRI scanner and PET-CT scanner

We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Radiologist (Board Certified or Board Eligible) who values quality patient care and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to combine clinical work with teleradiology, and to mentor and teach residents, interns, and other veterinary professionals. You should have excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications Required

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Board certification or eligibility in veterinary diagnostic imaging (ECVDI, ACVR)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring
