We are seeking a passionate and skilled Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon to join our growing team at a well-established animal hospital located in a picturesque region.

This is an ideal position for outdoor enthusiasts, as our facility is nestled between stunning lakes and mountains, surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The central location provides easy access to national parks to the east and the Canadian Pacific coastline to the west.

For nearly 40 years, we have served the community and beyond, offering a variety of specialty services including rehabilitation & pain management, dermatology, behavior, and soon, internal medicine. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth, with a rapidly increasing caseload driven by referrals across the region and a rising population in our referral area. To meet the growing demand, we are expanding our Emergency department to 24/7 service and recruiting for surgery, critical care, and radiology.

Compensation:

• Annual salary range: $220,000 - $250,000
• Eligibility for a production program
• Salary may vary based on location or other factors

• Eight exam rooms
• Spacious treatment floor
• Four operating rooms (three reserved for referral surgery)
• One dental suite and one endoscopy suite
• In-house 64-slice CT scanner
• Sound SmartDR+CsI with hands-free radiology equipment
• Philips Affiniti 70 Ultrasound unit (plus a portable Esoate unit)
• Well-equipped in-house lab, supported by three external laboratories in BC
• Fully stocked surgical inventory, including arthroscopy equipment (with plans to purchase additional equipment to expand services)
