The Surgery Department:

Our surgical team is renowned for its collaborative and supportive environment, where you will work alongside an experienced Surgical Specialist, Surgical Registrar, specialty-trained nurses, rotating interns, and support from our other departments. Our state-of-the-art facility includes:

• Specialist-led diagnostic imaging suite (digital radiography, CT, MRI)
• Electrosurgical equipment
• Arthroscopy and Endoscopy
• Electrochemotherapy
• Access to radiation oncology services

The Role:

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide a comprehensive referral surgical service to our patients and referring clinicians from across Perth and Western Australia. You will also have the opportunity to mentor colleagues, interns, and support staff while contributing to hospital activities such as journal clubs, M&M meetings, and surgical service development.

This is a full-time position spread across four days per week, with no after-hours or weekend work required.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with Diplomate or equivalent status (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS) and experience in orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery. Residency-trained candidates are also encouraged to apply.
