Veterinary Surgeon (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

An exciting opportunity awaits a board-certified or residency-trained Surgeon to join a well-established, multi-specialty animal hospital in Dallas. This role offers the chance to practice advanced surgical care alongside an elite team in a collaborative and technologically progressive environment.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This hospital is a leading multi-specialty referral center, offering expert services in Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Radiation Oncology, and Critical Care. The current 14,000 sq ft facility includes 10 exam rooms, three procedure rooms, an ICU capable of supporting 20+ patients, and an impressive suite of advanced equipment such as hemoperfusion, apheresis, mechanical ventilation, and TrueBeam® Linear Accelerator.

In summer 2025, the hospital will relocate to a state-of-the-art, 23,000 sq ft facility with 18 exam rooms and a full 24-hour emergency department. New capabilities will include interventional radiology, non-invasive procedures (PDA closures, pacemaker placements, urethral stents), and a C-arm. The practice is developing a clinical trials department and is currently involved in numerous oncology studies, with plans to expand into cardiology and internal medicine research.

Qualifications Required

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Board Certification or residency training in Surgery
